What does an AI video ad cost in India? Real prices for 2026
Real, published prices for AI product, commercial and storytelling ads in India, what each one includes, and the six things that change a quote.

We think a studio should put its price on its website, so here is ours.
At Spilanth Studio, a 30-second AI product ad costs ₹4,999, a commercial ad costs ₹7,999 and a storytelling ad costs ₹9,999. GST is included in all three. Buy a pack of five ads of one type and the price per ad drops: ₹19,999, ₹33,999 and ₹42,999 for five.
The rest of this guide covers what sits inside each price, what makes a quote go up, and how it compares with a traditional shoot. If you only needed the number, you already have it.
How much does an AI video ad cost in India?
An AI video ad costs between ₹4,999 and ₹9,999 per 30-second ad at Spilanth Studio, depending on the type of ad, with GST included. A pack of five ads of one type costs between ₹19,999 and ₹42,999. Other studios price differently (see the market range below), so ask any studio for a fixed quote in writing before you start.
| Ad type | One ad (30 s) | Pack of five | Per ad in a pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI product ad | ₹4,999 | ₹19,999 | about ₹4,000 |
| AI commercial ad | ₹7,999 | ₹33,999 | about ₹6,800 |
| AI storytelling ad | ₹9,999 | ₹42,999 | about ₹8,600 |
What do other studios in India charge for AI video?
Published prices for AI video in India in 2026 run from a few thousand rupees for a short social clip to more than a lakh for a finished AI ad film. The spread is wide because the products are different: a quick generated clip, a scripted and directed ad, and a full brand film are not the same job.
Here is what two studios that publish their numbers say. Both sell AI video themselves, so treat these as their price lists, not neutral surveys.
| What it covers | Published range | Source |
|---|---|---|
| AI ad film, 30 seconds | from ₹75,000 plus GST, up to about ₹1.5 lakh with length and complexity | DigiStreet Media, August 2026 |
| Conventional 30-second TV commercial | from about ₹5 lakh | DigiStreet Media, August 2026 |
| AI short-form social video | ₹3,000 to ₹25,000 per video | Visual Best, July 2026 |
| Agency-made AI video | ₹25,000 to ₹1,20,000 per finished minute | Visual Best, July 2026 |
Our prices sit at the low end of that range for a scripted, directed 30-second ad, because we sell a fixed format: one ad, two Meta cuts, a price agreed before production. When you compare quotes, compare what’s inside them: the script, the number of scenes, the formats, the revision rounds and who owns the result.
What does each price include?
Every ad includes the same basics: a script you approve before anything is made, AI production with your product checked in every shot, an edit with colour, music and sound, a 9:16 cut for Reels and Stories and a 4:5 cut for Feed, and full commercial rights when you pay the final invoice. What changes between the three prices is how much story and production goes into the thirty seconds.
Product ad, ₹4,999
Your product is the hero. Think pack shots, a pour, the texture of a face cream, the fizz in a glass, the label turning to camera. The script is short because the product does the talking. It’s the ad a D2C brand can run on its product pages and in always-on Meta campaigns, and a single one usually takes 3 to 5 business days.
Commercial ad, ₹7,999
A commercial sells a message rather than a pack: a launch, a Diwali offer, a new showroom, a limited-edition flavour. It has a hook written for the first three seconds, a call to action at the end, and usually a voiceover. More scenes and more direction mean more work, so expect 1 to 3 weeks including script approval.
Storytelling ad, ₹9,999
This one is a small film. Characters, a situation, a turn, and a feeling at the end, with your brand inside the story instead of shouting over it. It costs the most because the story has to work before anything else does, and the characters have to look like the same people in every shot. Also 1 to 3 weeks.
Why is a pack of five cheaper per ad?
Five ads of one type cost 14% to 20% less than five single ads because they share the groundwork: the product references are prepared once, the look is agreed once, and the scripts are written together.
The bigger reason we sell them is testing. One ad tells you whether one idea worked. Five ads with five different hooks tell you which idea your buyers respond to. There’s a full explanation in why we sell AI ads in packs of five.
What pushes the price of an AI ad up?
Six things change a quote. None of them should surprise you, because a decent studio prices them before production, not after.
- Runtime. Our prices are for 30 seconds. A 45 or 60-second film has more scenes to design, generate, grade and score.
- Scene count. Cost follows the number of distinct scenes more closely than the number of seconds. One product on one surface is simpler than six locations.
- Formats. A 9:16 and a 4:5 cut come with every ad. A 16:9 version for YouTube is a separate edit, not an export.
- Revision rounds. They’re agreed up front. Approvals spread across five stakeholders take longer than approvals from one founder.
- Languages. Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English are all handled in house, but each extra language is its own voiceover and its own pass of on-screen text.
- Your assets. Clear product photos and print-quality packaging artwork save preparation time. Blurry phone photos add it back.
Is an AI ad cheaper than a live-action shoot?
Usually, yes, and for a specific reason: there’s no shoot day. No location permit, no crew call, no camera rental, no travel, no catering. Those costs buy logistics, not ideas, and with AI production they disappear.
What doesn’t disappear is the creative work. Scripting, direction, editing, colour and sound take the same care as they always did, and that’s where your money goes. Be wary of a quote that looks low because those steps were skipped rather than because the logistics were removed. That saving isn’t real. You pay for it later, in an ad nobody watches.
Some briefs still belong on a real set, and we say so when we see one. If the ad must show a named person as themselves, a live event, or food being handled in real time, shoot it. There’s more on that in AI ad studio vs production house.
How long does an AI ad take?
A single product ad usually takes 3 to 5 business days from an approved brief. Commercial and storytelling ads take 1 to 3 weeks, including script approval and revisions.
The step that decides the schedule is approval. Nothing is generated until the script and shot list are signed off, which keeps both the timeline and the price predictable.
Five questions to ask before you pay any studio
Whoever you hire, get written answers to these:
- What exactly is delivered, and in which aspect ratios?
- How many revision rounds are included?
- Who owns the finished ad, and when does ownership transfer?
- What happens if the product looks wrong in a generated shot?
- Is the price fixed, or an estimate that can move?
Our answers are on the pricing page. The ownership question gets its own article: who owns an AI-generated ad in India.
How do you get a fixed price?
Send the product, where the ad will run, the length you have in mind and your deadline. We read the brief, ask about anything missing, and reply with a fixed price, a script plan and a delivery date. The first conversation carries no obligation, and WhatsApp is the quickest way to start.
